What is your check in time?
Check in is at 3pm. However, if the room is available before, we are happy to accommodate an early check in.
What is your check out time?
Check out time is at 11am. However, if we don’t have a new arrival in your room, we are happy to let you use the room a little longer.
Is the tap water safe for drinking?
Our tap water is purified. However, we advise you to drink bottled water provided in your room free of charge. In the
restaurant/bar, we only serve bottled drinking water and ice cubes made from purified water.
What is the voltage in Belize?
All room outlets are 110 volts and 60 Hertz, which is the same as the US. Should a power failure arise, the resort has a back-up generator.

Is there internet access at Portofino?
All rooms and exterior grounds are equipped with wireless internet access. For your convenience, we have a complimentary business center located in the reception area that is open during the reception operating hours.
Are pets allowed at Portofino?
We regret that we are unable to accommodate pets.
What forms of transportation are available for traveling to San Pedro?
Our resort is located six miles north of San Pedro Town, and is generally accessible by boat and by land. As an added value, we offer complimentary transportation service by boat throughout the day depending on departures and arrivals. Please contact our Front Desk for daily schedule. Alternatively, a water taxi stops in front of our resort for a fee.
What should I pack for my trip?
Clothes: casual beach wear (all over San Pedro). On the Island shoe's are not necessary, but when you are not used to walking barefoot, we advise you to take sandals, or boat shoes (especially for in town). Sunglasses, Photo cameras. Bug spray/Repellent: used usually on days that are not too windy it can be necessary for outside. Sun Block (high protection).
